Hi Michael M, Setaria has a single spike and does not have the small spikelets on the inflorescence, as shown in 1st photo, & the leaves are too wide.

Unfortunately, this plant has been removed in the 4 months since I uploaded this sighting, cultivated sorghum is growing nearby. Is that a possibility?? :)

Not enough detail to tell whether E colona or E crus-galli. Need the head fully emerged and branches spreading to be sure. These species tend to merge into each other.
