If I had to pick one Heliothine I'd go for H. armigera. See sighting No. 4366076.

Yes, my suggestion of H. punctifera was an error, I meant H. punctigera goben its much more commonly observed her, but I now think H. armigera would be more likely. Would be happy with Helicoverpa (genus) or Heliothinae (subfamily).

Unless you think it has signs of Australothis rubrescens, i think its got to be helivoverpa armigera.
