just wondering why the spelling was changed from Cruria donowani where it appears to be listed as in other places. The first 2 sightings are under this spelling but the last one and subsequent ones will be under Cruria donovani. Am wondering if it is because of the common name of Donovan's Day Moth.
It is confusing, but the 'v' and the 'w' were used differently in French in the 19th century, when the French naturalist Boisduval named it 'donowani' in honour of the Irish naturalist Edward Donovan.
