Attracted to UV light at night(50 w Gecko).

This specimen was large, the forewing costa measuring 4 cm from its base to the wing tip. These moths appear to be crepuscular, flying at the warm dusk and in the early morning, then resting quietly as the temperatures cool. Flying past your ears your hear a distinct humming sound.
