Stathmopodinae sub-family? Have not yet been able to find a match.

It's too short and wide for Stathmopodinae, rather an Oecophorinae

But the antennae are so long. Cosmopterigidae ?

It's very distinctive (eg those stathmopodid-like palpi)and we have a number of records. I'm pretty sure I've seen it before and we'll finally get it.

Couldn't find a match on iNaturalist in Oecophoridae.

I think it is the same moth as sighting 4365152 but I'm not sure that helps :-)

It looks quite like Stathmopoda sp. ANIC1 on
http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?taxid=525453
although their single specimen is from Queensland.

Who can see the labial palpi from side on in either of Katerina's records? I'm now thinking they are forward pointing rather than upcurved towards the top of the head, meaning stathmop and oecophorid were off track. Tineids have the long antennae that Don pointed out, and Opogona spp have palpi that are held in the way that Katerina's dorsal photos show, andthey have smooth scaled heads.

It could be near to some of the B/W banded Monopis species in BOLD at http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/TaxBrowser_Taxonpage?taxid=4256
but I do not see any B/W banded Opogona species at
http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/TaxBrowser_Taxonpage?taxid=102571
