User's notes
immature plants are incredibly abundant, floating in water as entangled inter-twined sub-surface mats, in water from shallow to deep (up to 70 cm). However, flowering plants were only in shallow water, 10-30 cm: and not very many.
Challenging to capture flowers above water at same time as showing the plant itself with bladders, floating below the surface. The second photograph is a not very successful attempt at this, with two flowers rather 'bleached' out.
