User's notes

Anilios nigrescens/Blackish blind snake, as Id'ed by Angus Cleary on ACT Reptile Enthusiasts fb group. Most likely killed in the night by some animal, since they are nocturnal, and, although rogue cyclists are sometimes found on the path where it was killed, they probably don't use it at night.

Avery, I think it is a Blind Snake. I confirm there is night bike traffic, quite a lot actually; but unfortunately there are also roaming cats, and foxes and dogs off-leash.
There are several CNM records of Blind Snake for Mt Ainslie but I think this is the first CNM record for Mt Majura. So sad it is dead.

This is at the very south end of the Ainslie-Majura connecting ridge (on the path up from the hopefully forever nonexistent Monash Drive), so not really either Mt Ainslie or Majura. But I don't know what that area is actually supposed to be called.

Avery the separation between Mts Ainslie Majura is artificial anyway, for CNM purpose Hancock road separates the reserves however for our Flora list we use the Blue Metal road...
