So cute, first breeding record in ACT?

yes so little and cute, have chatted to a few other COG members including Shorty, Steve W. and Lyndon and it sounds like it is the first breeding record in the ACT.

And also noted in Shorty's sighting 4353062 of the nest, so it looks like incubation took about 26 days. Literature says that they usually nest in small colonies, and it seems there may be two more nests nearby, so hopefully more little cuties arriving soon :)

Yes, according to COG this species is an "Uncommon non-breeding visitor", and there are no records on the breeding map. I was also under the assumption that this species had not bred in the ACT before.

I have been informed by expert opinions during my research for my note for CBN that this is indeed a first breeding record for the ACT.
