User's notes

Recently I have seen this Gang-gang family of three, or sometimes just the adults, returning several times to the tree where they nested last year (Site 5 in Gang-gang study). This time, the female fed the juvenile (photo 1) after peering into the nest hollow and chewing bark (photos 3 and 4). The juvenile had been begging persistently (photo 2) while the male sat on a branch nearby (photo 5 shows all three birds, juvenile just above male). Crimson rosellas have been entering this hollow recently, see separate sighting.
