Significant sighting

MichaelMulvaney noted:

28 Jun 2020

This is a weed of national significance that with climate change could become a major invader of our areas bush. If you have this plant in your garden or a pot (birds can spread its fruit) please dispose in red landfill bin. If in garden, poison or make sure you remove all its bulbs.

User's notes

14 plants with multiple bulbs, 28 seedlings/single bulbs over a 10 m section next to on road bike lane on north side of Adelaide avenue. Growing under planted Brittle Gums Checked under planted and weedy nearby cotoneatsers and along 200m stretch of roadside but no other plants. Removed all plants present. Location reported by Silke (thanks). Probably spread by birds eating berries on pot plant of nearby apartments.
