Possibly a leaf beetle? Thanks to Marcus Leach for the initial sighting of this very active beetle on a bridge handrail adjacent to ANBG's Red Centre.

I don't know how Marcus does it! I was at ANBG last week and saw hardly any insects at all! Well spotted Marcus, and well photographed Tim!

Thanks Christine. Neither do I! The bridge handrails seem to attract various insects, so they are always worth a close look. Tim.

They all looked sparkling clean last week, I assume all had been cleaned due to Covid-19. there were no insects on them at all. Also no Two-tailed Spider that i could see on the usual tree.
