After three years watching this hollow has been confirmed as a Gang Gang breeding site, also great story re plight of this young female and dad fixing the problem

This is the first sighting of a chick at this hollow. We thought there were chicks there the previous two years but had not seen them.
This female Gang gang chick is stuck on the edge of this very steep hollow. She was obviously preparing to fledge when her wing got stuck on the outside and her leg was on the inside. She had her eyes shut when I first arrived, so may have been there for a while. The parents flew in after about 20mins. She was trying to get her wing back in but was unable and was obviously distressed.
I tried to get help but was unable to contact anyone with climbing gear. I left close to dark. Jackie F will continue the story.

Thanks so much Tom for the first nestling sighting at this hollow (after three years of trying) and for efforts to enlist help for the jammed nestling. Please see sighting 4246819, which takes up the story from the parents' return at about 8.30pm.
