Young blue-tongue, no more than 20cm nose to tip of tail. Mum (I assume) was out sunning herself earlier (no photo - much bigger) - this is her regular haunt. I thought Bluetongues were supposed to give birth from about December - would this be last year's young??
Dear J. I looked at https://australianmuseum.net.au/learn/animals/reptiles/eastern-blue-tongue-lizard/ which states that young are 130-140 mm in total length. This would suggest that yours is easy years' model. Geoff R
