These photos are from the afternoon of my previous chough post - the fledgling was now on the ground, and being tended by a very attentive family. The young bird was running, stretching its wings, fluttering onto logs then down onto the ground - and the adults were running after the baby, herding it back into their fold. Choughs are fast becoming one of my favourite birds!
