Hi SWishart, I've just reviewed this sighting, prompted by sighting 4248634, and I realised that we have IDed this sighting incorrectly. Myrmecia fulvipes is differentiated from the similar Myrmecia piliventris by having legs which are a strongly different colour from the body, generally red as shown in your photo, but sometimes yellowish. Myrmecia pilivetris tends to have dark or very dark red-brown legs. I have updated this sighting and one or two others as well. Cheers, Jon
