Possibly more likely Little Raven, but will see what others think. (As a rule of thumb, Aust. Ravens do not occur above 1000m altitude (only Little Raven)).
I really cannot ID from the photos. I usually look for the hackles at the front of the neck and any behaviours such as calls when IDing ravens. I am happy with Aust. Raven or Little Raven. John, any other distinctive behaviours (calls etc.) that you saw? This long piece (albeit interesting) will add to the confusion: http://www.birdlife.org.au/australian-birdlife/detail/the-trouble-with-ravens And I thought little brown birds were difficult. ;)
Apologies for the non-definitive shots, there were large flocks and individual birds at the location but I did not concentrate on the details. I'll return and pay closer attention to the hackles some time soon.
I've put as Australian Raven. Ryu, if both are common there then I think it is fine. John, happy for an update in a new sighting if you go back again soon.
