What a little rusty frog master

The only species I know in this region that has a vertical line through the eye is Peron's Tree Frog. These are plain in colour but the colour may be variable.

Is it a dirty peroni covered in saw dust?

If you had caught it and looked at the pattern in its thighs you would have been presently surprised.

Yep the red is the dust/dirt was from inside of the log as the log was cut... was surprised to see a frog come out... in hindsight I should've caught it and give it a clean with water before taking the photos...

Always a great help when we are trying to id herps from photographs alone. A peek at the hind leg colours is often helpful as well if the frog is being handled anyway.
