Very dense tussock perched on gravel bar. No fruits evident, just a few senescent inflorescences present. Leaves scabrid margins, stem triangular.
Occurring occasionally, in dense clumps of 1-5 tussocks, on high sand or gravel or rocky bars in main flowpath of Paddy's river,
