I assume this was a mating pair, but the female doesn't look too good.

Same species as #4198519. The thing 'stuck to its rear end' is indeed the female, and she looks fine. It's excellent to get a shot of a mating pair, as males and females in this family can be hard to associate unless found 'in copula'.
