This is a great record - thanks for taking the time to take the great photograph and for loading it onto CNM. It is adding to our knowledge of a species that has declined in its distribution in this region.

Thank you. Our first sighting (in 25 years) of a tree goanna close to our Gundaroo property was a dead one (run over - not by us) on 1 January 2018 on Back Creek Road, Gundaroo. I have a photo of that Goanna and it is very similiar in markings and colour to the goanna subject of the post. We saw 'our' goanna again in early January 2019 also close to the house/shed.
