Thanks Michael. I will investigate further. I'm still very much a novice but thought I had 'mastered' lady beetles. Perhaps not.

Hi Michael. I think this identification is correct. The markings seem the same as Hippodamia variegata (Spotted Amber Ladybird) on 15 Nov 2018 verified by Kim Pullen.
