I saw this Weebill nest before I saw the birds responsible. The nest appeared abandoned before two Weebills showed up. One was moving around the nest apparently adjusting the nest.

I wonder if the nest may have belonged to another bird, and the weebills are just scavenging material for their nest? Weebill nests that I have seen have been very neatly constructed, not a mess like this one.
