Wooden stake is a dingo bait station. One every 500m along the road. The quarterly baiting may be why we did not record a fox in the goanna cameras, and few dingoes. Also we have recorded few cats. Pigs are also heavily suppressed. RNW and BT possums are abundant - another indication of low fox abundance. If this management was applied experimentally in other reserves, eg along the Murrumbidgee, would we see increased abundance of Rosenberg's a decade or two later?
