Yes could well be the only variation was the body seemed to extend beyond the length of the wings and the eyes seemed more brown than green but this could just be a natural thing in this species, I would accept it from your recommendations Kerri as the other does not look right. I believe I did make this selection as the other was not on our species list (I think)
Not a Laphria, looks more like subfamily Asilinae. In CNM, Dolopus rubrithorax (https://canberra.naturemapr.org/Community/Species/Sightings/22177) has similar proportions, leg colour and markings on the side of the thorax, but there may be other candidates. The single image may not be good enough to get a precise ID.
