All ANIC specimens of this species are old and faded and are dull by comparison with this attractive moth, but the underlying forewing pattern seems right. ANIC specimens are mainly from Barrington tops, but also Cradle Mountain (Tas), Black Mountain, Lees Ck, and Tinderry Mountains

The photo shows much more white than set specimens of C. nephodes display, but the underlying pattern seems spot on.
