Pat I think this is more likely to be Apple Box (Eucalyptus bridegsiana) but would need a photo of buds or nuts to be sure

Yep, I can see a crenulate margin on some of that juvenile foliage, so pretty definitely bridgesiana. It looks to be covered in juvenile foliage, suggesting it has been recently defoliated, I hope not by the Gonipterus weevil that has done all the damage to viminalis down round Berridale. It has also been attacking bridgesiana east from there towards Dalgety, with results that look like this.
