The right hand side wing oval spot is larger and the markings suggest it is the female..

3384296 and 3384028 seem to be the same species and are much yellower than most Taxeotis species. They are close to some of the variable ANIC specimens put together as Taxeotis epigaea. (BOLD has put some of them in 3 different Bins, so they are probably a mixture of species.) All the ANIC specimens are from the coast and mountains from northern NSW to the Atherton tableland. Some other similar specimens have been recorded from the south coast into Victoria (eg MoV Taxeotis sp1). It seems best to record the two CNM records as Taxeotis sp nr epigaea.
