The wing pattern and markings are very similar to Thema macroscia however this moth apparently lacks the prominent diagnostic labial palpi which are characteristic of that species (Common 1990) p.224. Could this be just the female of the same species? - or another mimicking species perhaps?

It is Thema macroscia, apparently lost its labial palpi. Matches wing pattern of macroscia specimens
