User's notes

A 1920 plantation with still 1,000 - 2,000 original trees left, No evidence that they are self seeding. White box is used as a street tree in Canberra and was once a local species at the eastern limit of its range. It may be naturally extinct in the ACT. These plantings on Mugga Mugga represent an early success at establishing a locally rare species within Canberra's reserves.
