Hi Michael. I checked this one against the illustrations in Vol. 1 of 'Australian longhorn beetles' by Slipinski & Escalona (ABRS 2013) but I couldn't get a sure species ID. Ancita antennata has the sides of the prothorax covered in pale (white or yellow) scales, whereas this one does not. For a proper go at an ID, I would really need to examine the sculpture (size, shape and position of the bumps and ridges) on the thorax and elytra and compare it to reliably identified specimens. I'll have a better look in the ANIC when I can. Regards, Kim.
