Rust infection of Lagenophora stipitata. Third image shows yellow to orange Aecia and black Telia. Fourth image shows aeciospores and peridial cells (top) and aeciospores of 13-16 µm (bottom). Fifth image shows groups of two celled teliospores at different magnifications, Length of the two cells generally ranged between 40-46 µm. The spores are generally smaller than the range given at http://collections.daff.qld.gov.au/web/key/rustfungi/Media/Html/puccinialagenophorae.html but otherwise the images on that site match those provided in this record.
