Hmm, I usually look at the base of the phyllodes, A. genistifolia seems to have tapering narrow bases, A. ulicifoia wider ones (nicely illustrated in the drawings of both species on PlantNET pages).
I decided on A. genistifolia because A. ulicifola has a prominent midrib on each face and the leaves have a long drawn out point. A. genistifolia does not have a prominent rib and the leaf tips narrow abruptly to the mucro.
