Tony I agree this is definitely Caladenia something. It looks different to actensis to me because just about every actensis leaf I've seen has a strong purple tinge towards the bottom of the leaves. It is not too far away from the known C. atrovespa location and it looks like the atrovespa leaves to me? What do you reckon Tony? If it's either atrovespa or phaeoclavia, it is very exciting news. We need to definitely monitor this one. Well done again Peter.
Yes please monitor! several years ago I found a single C actensis a bit further south east close to the "knee" of Casuarina trail - and there are a number of small populations south ie downhill. Therefore I wouldn't be surprised if this is C. actensis. It will be a super year for early flowering orchids incl C actensis.
