My identification is based on the colour and that the branch apices appear to be swollen to such an extent that they are fusing. Furthermore, some glossiness in the 'florets' at the lower left (photo 2) suggest viscidity. If my ID is right, this would be an example of swollen apices already evident in what is presumably a fairly immature specimen.
