MattM's Majura helmet colony. Maybe 2 or 3 buds max, not quite looking developed yet, need more time to mature and grow more.

Hmm interesting Tony. Not many buds? Do you think it's because we didn't get enough rain back in autumn etc?
I could only find about 3 buds among around 100 leaves today at Majura.

C. hispida which flowers earlier didn't produce any flowers this year. I think this was largely due to lack of good autumn rains, and could also be the reason why the winter flowering species (C. incurva and Bunochilus) are also not doing too well. At least the plentiful winter rain should result in a good spring orchid show.
