On the slopes near the Murrumbidgee River, on the east side.

This is another liverwort in the genus Riccia. It looks to be Riccia marginata which typically has that purplish pigmentation towards the back of the plant.

Chris Cargill tells me that Riccia marginata is a synonym of Riccia cartilaginosa, so I've updated this.
