I've seen as many as 14 at Kama. The Australian Stunt Plane Group the Roulettes were practicing over Kama that day. I saw one sitella fly out of a tree, performing a barrel roll to catch an insect. Seconds later the Roulettes did a barrel roll too!
Thanks Matt. It was my first visit to the site as it is on the wrong side of Canberra for me. Certainly a lovely patch with some nice birds like Diamond Firetail, Golden-headed Cisticola, and a surprise visit by a White-necked Heron. The only disappointment was the absence of any mixed feeding flocks. You can see my list from yesterday here: http://ebird.org/ebird/australia/hotspot/L1359090
