1980. The "Recorded On" date is the date of the sighting (I.e. when the turtle was seen), the date in the Identification history (2016) is simply when the ID was suggested or confirmed within CNM.

Yes, The turtle was lodged as a specimen in the ANWC and I photographed it at the time. The image was posted here in 2016 as an historical record. I did this with many of my earlier photographs just to get them into the system.
