Mike - The only area where I have heard of Trumpet Vine being a problem in Australia is S-E Queensland, so perhaps one to keep an eye on but not get too alarmed about
Alert but not alarmed, as the fridge magnet said. I have checked some of the plants in local gardens, which grow and flower well, but haven't found seed. Perhaps in the ACT it spreads by cuttings or prunings.
