Small plant growing in a crack in granite rocks. Height about 10cms.

Another one for Betty I think. But I have a feeling we've seen this species reported on the site before. Any thoughts Michael B??

(With a little help from my friends) - can I add that this plant may be from the genus Luzula, possibly L densiflora but I hope someone can positively ID it.

Very good suggestion - I kept looking at it because I thought I ought to know what it was. I checked your suggestion against my photo record and you are quite right.
