Glossy black cockatoos (terrible photo). Red seen under the tail when in flight. All were feeding in a Allocasuarina before flying off

This is quite a significant sighting. I think the last ACT record was 2014. However they were recorded on Mt Jerrabomberra fairly recently. I think a likely cause is the extensive loss of coastal habitat in the fires, as elsewhere in their range they seem to be occurring further inland.
