Diatenes igneipicta (an Erebidae Moth)

The adult moths are rusty brown with a complex pattern of darker and paler wiggly lines on the wings, and black spots along the costa of each forewing. The moths have a wingspan of about 4 cms. The species has been found in Australia in  Northern Territory,  Queensland,  New South Wales,  Victoria, South Australia, and  Western Australia.
