Aedes alboannulatus (White-kneed Mosquito)

Comments from David Ferguson:

Aedes alboannulatus has a white band a short distance from the knee.

This species has acquired the common name the 'white kneed mosquito'. Note that white knees on mosquitos is a common character found on numerous species, and doesn't reflect a diagnostic character.

Aedes alboannulatus is listed in the following regions:

Canberra & Southern Tablelands  |  Albury, Wodonga  |  Barwon South West

Species page sighting lists are under redevelopment and will return very soon.
