Nemophora panaeola (Adelidae)

The adult moths of this species have forewings that are brown speckled with pink, each with with a yellow mark by the base, a central transverse band of black and yellow stripes. The hindwings are pale brown. The moths have a wingspan of about 1.2 cms. The colours fade to brown in museum specimens.
