Podomyrma adelaidae (Muscleman tree ant)

Podomyrma adelaidae is found throughout temperate Australia and is easily recognised by the pair of white spots on the gaster. Workers can be seen foraging on the trunks of eucalypts, particularly smooth-barked eucalypts.
