Feeding on the fruits of which conifer? it looks like Hesperocyparis arizonica, Arizona Cypress. Im interested in the range of Gang-gangs food plants. The ACT Government apparently justifies the planting of non-local trees including those that pose environmental risks because they are a potential food source of Gang-gangs. Southern Blue Gum, Eurabbie had been removed from a list of trees to be planted on public land because of its weed potential. However, in the latest review of the Municipal Infrastructure Standard Part 25, the species made its way back to the list of desirable plants because it is a potential food source of Gang-gangs. Gang-gangs are opportunistic feeders; in the ACT they have a rich table feeding on seeds of 100s of different species of Exotic, Exotic AUS, and Local Natives... No need to plant weeds extra for Gang-gangs.
