I'm not entirely certain, but, to date Ceratiomyxa porioides has not been found in Australia. The above images appear to be of a fungus.

@Teresa Thanks Teresa. Google images gave me the suggested ID so not confident, however, there are five reported sightings of this in Australia on iNaturalist.https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=6744&taxon_id=1556412 This could of course be incorrect.

The white/creamy pores and the yellow margin lead me to Austeria citrea. It can be flat or bracket-like, and mostly about a centimetre or two wide.

Thanks Alison, most of them are from the tropics but remain doubtful for Australia.
