User's notes

This was found at Pomaderris Nature Reserve near Goulburn NSW. It was under a rock in ants nest of Camponotus aeneopilosus and Aphaenogaster longiceps. Im pretty sure this is an Ant Cricket of Myrmecophilus sp, and a good chance of being M. Testaceus based on information in "A Guide To Crickets of Australia" by David Rentz and You Ning Su p362-363.

A geat find trevor. I have been looking for these crickets whenever I have overturned a stone with a colony of sugar ants that are abundant around our home
