It might be but I am not convinced. The only mark it has in common is the black dot. But I think it is further down the wing in above moth. It lacks any indication of the tan bar extending along the wings from the 'shoulders'. None of the BOLD (Hobern) moths show the pale antennae with dark bands near the tip, as seen above. I can't see this in any Research Grade iNat ones either. The fuzzy/scale covered section of the palps is much longer in E. tricasis, and the naked section shorter than above.

Wendy. I would agree that it seems different to the other specimens that have been IDd as this species, include a previous one of mine. I selected this species as it was the best I could do. The antennae are quite different and my images are clear on that. I've loaded another one from a slightly different angle. This was a very fresh moth so the lack of pattern was not as a result of being warn.
