User's notes

Note that berries in the top branches had already been taken by birds. An extensive Hawthorn infestation has been removed from beside Ginninderra Creek 400-500m below and to the east of this sighting.

Need photo of leaves. More likely to be Crataegus monogyna which has more deeply lobed leaves. Check the fruit before the birds get them all; C. laevigata has 2-3 seeds while C. monogyna has one. There are only three records of C. laevigata on Canberra Nature Map and one is doubtful.
